COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AMULETS - Ca. 1550 - 30 BC. A collection of 20 faience amulets representing deities, animals, and symbolic motifs. Among the divine figures are Taweret shown with her characteristic hippopotamus head and rounded belly, and Thoth depicted as a baboon and others. Animal forms include a sow and a lion. Several wedjat eye amulets appear in different styles, and the group also includes additional pendants and plaques. Some pieces feature suspension loops for attachment.
