COLLECTION OF FAIENCE FROGS AMULETS - Ca. 1550 - 30 BC. A group of four blue faience amulets in the form of a frog sitting atop a flat, integral base. Each displays variations in shape and detailing. The undersides bear incised motifs. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
