COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN FAIENCE AMULETS - Ca. 1550 - 30 BC. A collection of nine faience amulets. The first in the upper left corner is a wedjat eye in pale faience with a defined brow, extended cosmetic line, and spiral marking. Next, a multiple Eyes of Horus amulet in brown faience with four stylised eyes within an openwork framework. The third is a cylindrical bead in light beige with horizontal ribs. The last in this row is a rosette in pale orange-brown with a central perforation. A Shu amulet in faded greenish faience depicts the god with raised arms. A seated baboon in brown faience has a clearly defined head and limbs. Then is a biconical openwork bead in bluish-green. An amulet of two deities in dark green faience shows paired figures on a small base. The final piece represents Bes in blue and yellow faience in a squatting pose.
