COLLECTION OF EGYPTIAN STEATITE SCARABS - Third Intermediate Period - Late Period, Ca. 1069 - 332 BC. A group of three steatite scarabs and a single lenticular seal, each with a domed upper section and flat, engraved underside. The scarabs display variations in body proportions and surface detailing, with two featuring deeply cut elytra divisions and other rendered with smoother contours. Reviewed by Simone Musso, consultant curator for Egyptian antiquities at the Stibbert Museum, Florence, Italy, member of the Nuri Archaeological Expedition.
