DAUNIAN FUNNEL KRATER WITH GEOMETRIC MOTIF - Ca. 550 BC. A terracotta funnel krater with a globular body, flaring rim, and a pair of vertical strap handles rising above the rim, interspersed with applied horn-like lugs. The upper section is painted in dark slip with dense horizontal bands of meander, waves, and lines, a scheme that continues across the handles and lugs. The interior of the funnel is decorated with plain concentric lines. For similar see: G. Volpe, M. J.
