GREEK RED ON WHITE TERRACOTTA TREFOIL OINOCHOE - Ca. 400 BC. A terracotta oinochoe with a trefoil mouth, high arching handle, and broad ovoid body tapering to a narrow foot with a circular base. The surface is decorated in red on a white ground, with a band of stylised floral scrolls encircling the shoulder. Horizontal bands adorn the body, while the handle, foot, and area around the spout are fully painted red. Size: 130mm x 85mm; Weight: 135g Provenance: Private London collection, acquired on the German art market; Ex. private collection, Munich, since 2021; previously in German family ownership since before 2000. Accompanied by a German Export license. This piece is accompanied by a historical report from Alessandro Neri, an international Cultural Heritage expert based in Florence, Italy.
