EASTERN GREEK TERRACOTTA FUNERARY TRIPODE FIGURINE DEPICTING A MAN HOLDING A BABY - Ca. 600 - 500 BC. A terracotta anthropomorphic figurine with an elongated lower body dividing into two forward-projecting legs and a third leg extending backward. The upper body is broad, with thick arms crossed over the chest to support a smaller male bust on the left side. The primary figure has a prominent nose, arched brows, and a small mouth, framed by a pointed headdress resembling a bashlik. The absence of a horse’s head, despite the rider-like posture and stylised horse-like lower body, creates a centaur-like impression.
