HELLENISTIC HIGH KARAT GOLD FRUIT-SHAPED PENDANT - Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A hollow 21.5 kt gold pendant cast in the form of a stylised fruit with a symmetrical, tapering body. The surface is modelled with overlapping lobes, each rendered in low relief, and the main body is decorated with a finely detailed scale-like texture.
