RARE SCYTHIAN ACINACES DAGGER WITH BRONZE OPENWORK BAT-SHAPED POMMEL - Ca. 600 - 500 BC. An iron dagger with a straight, double-edged blade of lenticular section, tapering evenly to a point. The integral guard projects on both sides. The narrow hilt is surmounted by a separately cast openwork bronze pommel shaped as a bat. For similar see: B. Piotrvsky, P.
