BYZANTINE GOLD MULTIPLE BEZEL RING WITH GARNET CABOCHONS - Ca. AD 500 - 800. A gold multiple-bezel ring with a rounded hoop and voluted shoulders supporting a raised cluster setting. At the centre, a larger circular collet is flanked by two smaller cup-shaped bezels, all linked by a lattice of wire and sheet elements.
