LATE ROMAN/BYZANTINE SILVER AND NIELLO SPOON WITH GEOMETRIC MOTIF - Ca. AD 300 - 500. A silver spoon with an elongated ovoid bowl of shallow profile. A short right-angled neck, decorated with a nielloed herringbone pattern, links the bowl to a long tapering handle of circular section.
