BYZANTINE GOLD FILIGREE PENDANT - Ca. AD 600 - 800. A gold biconical pendant formed as a hollow bead with opposed suspension loops. The ribbed median band is bordered by fine wire fillets and encircling fields of filigree scrolls and concentric roundels, each enriched with neatly placed granules.For similar see: M.
