RARE EGYPTIAN GOLD ANUBIS APPLIQUÉ - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A gold sheet appliqué of the head of Anubis facing right. The elongated jackal muzzle with chased contour lines, a lentoid eye within a raised cosmetic frame, and a tall tapering ear with an inner ridge. The neck descends to a pointed terminal.
