EGYPTIAN GLAZED STEATITE FRAGMENT OF A HATHORIC DOUBLE WIG - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A fragment of a Hathoric wig rendered in glazed steatite, preserving the upper section of the lappets. Each side displays vertically ribbed strands separated by horizontal bands. The surface is coated in a rich green glaze with darker pooling in the grooves.
