EGYPTIAN FAIENCE NECKLACE WITH AMULET PENDANT - New Kingdom to Late Period, Ca. 1550 - 332 BC. A restrung faience necklace arranged as three sections of turquoise tubular beads, interspersed with groups of small ring beads and longer cream cylindrical spacers, converging at the front into a single strand. A short beaded dropper at the centre suspends a small faience amulet in the form of a standing figure.Size: 650/1300mm x 50mm; Weight: 30gProvenance: Private London collection; ex Private collection of Dr. A Saslow.
