LARGE EGYPTIAN FAIENCE TAWERET - New Kingdom, Ca. 1550 - 1069 BC. A light blue-green faience figure of Taweret standing on a small rectangular base. The head has a slender muzzle with parted jaws, large eyes, and rounded ears. The body is heavy with a pronounced belly and pendant breasts.
