EGYPTIAN LAPIS LAZULI ANUBIS AMULET - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A lapis lazuli amulet of Anubis. The jackal-headed god stands frontally on an integral rectangular plinth, wears a short striated kilt, and is backed by a tall dorsal pillar. The head has a long muzzle and erect ears. The body is slim with the arms held straight at the sides and the hands clenched.
