STUNNING PAIR OF DECCANI GOLD BAZUBANDS WITH MOTHER OF PEARL AND PRECIOUS STONES - Ca. 16th - 18th century AD. A matched pair of mother of pearl bazubands, each formed as an oval medallion flanked by hinged trefoil suspension loops, fitted with silk cords. The upper face is decorated with kundan-set cabochons of rubies, emeralds and other stones arranged around a central cabochon.
