MUGHAL DAGGER WITH JADE RAM-SHAPED INLAID HANDLE - Ca. 17th - 18th century AD. A dagger with a slightly recurved, single-edged steel blade drawn to a reinforced point, the forte with a gilt collar decorated in koftgari scrolling arabesques. The hilt is carved from jade as a ram’s head with modelled horns and a pronounced muzzle, the eyes set with red stones.
