MUGHAL JADE FLORAL-SHAPED INLAID BOX - Ca. 17th - 18th century AD. A mutton fat jade box with a low lobed body and a slightly domed cover set with a bud finial, the underside with an oval foot. The exterior is decorated with kundan-style gold inlay of rosette sprays and scrolling tendrils, arranged in regular panels across the cover and sides.
