OTTOMAN SILVER RING WITH INTAGLIO DEPICTING WINGED FIGURE - Ca. 19th century AD. A carnelian oval intaglio engraved with a winged figure striding right, holding a bow, with a spear set beside, set in a silver ring with a plain raised collet within a serrated border. The bezel plate is decorated with foliate scrolls and trefoil bosses at the compass points. Short tapering shoulders bear raised floral roundels and scrolling motifs.
