BUKHARA BLUE GLAZE DISH WITH CENTRAL MOTIF - Ca. 19th - 20th century AD. An earthenware dish with a wide everted rim, rounded cavetto, and low ring foot. The interior, in turquoise and cobalt with black-and-white detailing, is divided by a cruciform mesh into four panels, two with dotted grounds and two with chequered squares; a cross-hatched border runs around the rim. The underside is coated in turquoise glaze incised with an all-over lattice, with the foot left unglazed.Size: 110mm x 370mm; Weight: 2.6kgProvenance: Private UK Collection.
