PAIR OF REVIVAL LUSTRE DISHES WITH CENTRAL MOTIF - Ca. 20th century AD. A pair of dishes, including, from left to right: a deep bowl on a ring foot with an everted rim, the centre with a roundel of a bird amid foliage, and an inner inscriptional band to the cavetto and further cursive script around the exterior; and a large shallow dish on a low foot with a wide well, the interior laid out as a radiating petal-lattice in cobalt blue and compartments filled with arabesques, birds and palmettes with turquoise highlights, enclosed by a calligraphy border.Size: 45-60mm x 185-300mm; Weight: 1.4kgProvenance: Private UK Collection.
