REVIVAL HISPANO-MORESQUE LUSTRE CHARGER - Ca. 20th century AD. A large tin-glazed earthenware charger with a shallow cavetto and broad everted rim. The surface is decorated in copper lustre with cobalt-blue accents, the central roundel showing a seated musician playing a lute amid dense foliate sprays and feathered leaves. A lustre inscription-style band encircles the cavetto, and the wide rim is painted with interlaced cobalt strapwork over lustre panels of scrolling ornament.Size: 70mm x 450mm; Weight: 2.6kgProvenance: Private UK Collection.
