CHINESE GREY JADE ANIMAL PENDANT - Ming Dynasty, Ca. 14th-17th century AD. A finely carved jade pendant in the form of a recumbent mythical animal with its head leaning backwards, rendered with smooth contours and subtle incised lines suggesting wings or fur. The grey-green stone shows natural dark inclusions and a soft polish.
