CHINESE BRONZE TRIPOD CENSER - Qing Dynasty, Ca. AD 1644 - 1912. A globular censer standing on three cabriole legs, surmounted by a reticulated lid and a dragon finial. The body is finely cast with a continuous narrative scene of scholars and attendants in a garden setting, framed within a lappet-edged cartouche. Above, the shoulder is adorned with cloud scrolls and a key-fret border. Size: 210mm x 160mm; Weight: 2.87kg. Provenance: Private UK collection.
