CHINESE FAMILLE ROSE FLORAL BOWL - Republican Period, Ca. AD 1912 - 1949. A beautiful porcelain bowl with a round body rising from a tapering foot. The exterior is richly decorated with medallions enclosing blossoming peonies. The medallions are set against a yellow ground, with alternating peaches and blossoms. The base includes a Daoguang mark. Size: 140mm x 70mm; Weight: 215g. Provenance: Private French Collection; previously in Private German Collection, acquired in Koln.
