Each piece is meticulously hand-sculpted to capture the texture, curvature, and variation in form found in real chillies. Executed in Yixing clay with different pigments, and detailed stems. Zhou Dingfang is renowned for her organic sculptural interpretations of natural forms in Yixing ware, bridging the traditions of literati aesthetics with contemporary sensibility.
