CHINESE GOLD SYCEE YUANBAO INGOT - Ming Dynasty, Ca. 14th-17th century AD. A gold sycee (yuanbao) of waisted boat-like form with broad flaring ends and a gently concave center. The surface displays four impressed seals in archaic script, denoting mint authority and verification marks, typical of regulated Ming bullion production.
