CHINESE GOLD YUANBAO INGOT - Qing Dynasty, Ca. 18th-20th century AD. A finely crafted Chinese gold yuanbao ingot from the late imperial period. This ingot is square in shape, with raised borders that define its edges and a concave center. The ingot is stamped with four Chinese characters, including ”???” (Great Blessing) and ”???” (Auspicious Wind), symbolising good fortune and prosperity.
