TWO BRONZE VOTIVE OBJECTS - Ca. 15th-16th century AD. A group comprising a finely cast bronze peacock-shaped incense burner, the bird shown standing on a circular base with an arched tail and hinged body forming the censer compartment. The surface is decorated with incised feather and scale patterns, and the perforated chest allows the incense smoke to diffuse gracefully; and a complementary bronze votive object with a deity.Size: 150-175mm x 105-155mm; Weight: 1.44kgProvenance: Private UK Collection.
