CHINESE CLOISONNÉ ENAMEL VAJRADHARA WITH CONSORT - Ca. 19th-20th century AD. A finely worked cloisonné enamel figure depicting Vajradhara in yab-yum (divine union) with his consort, representing the inseparable unity of wisdom and compassion. The pair is seated in embrace upon a pedestal, richly decorated with scrolling lotus motifs in vibrant blue, yellow, green, and red enamels against a blue ground.
