EGYPTIAN BONE LEOPARD - Old Kingdom, Ca. 2600 - 2200 BC. A leopard figurine carved from bone, depicted in a crouching position with its forelimbs extended and hind legs folded beneath the body. The elongated torso curves slightly, with a defined shoulder ridge and a gently sloping back. The surface bears natural mottling, with dark inclusions scattered across the pale material.
