EGYPTIAN PAINTED WOODEN SARCOPHAGUS MASK - Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A wooden mask from a sarcophagus with a broad, rounded face and gently tapering chin. The facial features are modelled in relief, with arching brows, bulging eyes with painted outlines and pupils, a long nose with a prominent bridge, and a small, pursed mouth.
