PAIR EGYPTIAN TERRACOTTA VESSELS - Predynastic Period, Ca. 4600 - 4100 BC. A pair of terracotta bird figurines with rounded, bulbous bodies and small protruding tails. One retains a clearly defined head with a curved beak. Each is pierced transversely through the body. Both are hand-modelled in a simplified, abstract form.
