EGYPTIAN FAIENCE FROG AMULET - Late Period - Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A pale green faience amulet in the form of a crouching frog, modelled in the round and set upon an integral flat base. The limbs, head, and dorsal contour are clearly defined, with recessed features around the eyes and mouth.
