EGYPTIAN FAIENCE CROCODILE AMULET - Late Period to Ptolemaic Period, Ca. 664 - 30 BC. A faience amulet in the form of a crocodile, representing Sobek. The elongated body is modelled with a segmented back and a raised head. Size: 14.5mm x 56.2mm; Weight: 9.43g Provenance: From the collection of a London gentleman; formerly acquired in early 2000s; previously in 1970s UK collection.
