EGYPTIAN LAPIS LAZULI MUMMIFIED FALCON AMULET - Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A blue lapis lazuli amulet in the form of a mummified falcon, with incised horizontal bands across the body, recessed eyes and a curved beak. A perforation is drilled through the upper section for suspension. Size: 25mm x 13mm; Weight: 2.69g Provenance: Private London collection; previously in a 1980s Mayfair Family private collection.
