EGYPTIAN FAIENCE BABOON FIGURINE - Late Period, Ca. 664 - 332 BC. A turquoise-blue faience amulet in the form of a standing baboon, depicted upright with arms held closely at the sides. The head is rendered with a broad snout, rounded brows, and deeply incised eyes. A suspension loop is present at the back of the neck, and the figure stands on an integral rectangular base.
