PAIR OF HELLENISTIC HIGH KARAT GOLD APPLIQUES UMBO-SHAPED - Ca. 350 - 200 BC. A pair of gold appliqu?s, each of circular form with a domed central boss surrounded by a ring of granulated beads and a band of raised pellets, enclosed by a twisted wire border. The reverse of each is fitted with a soldered loop for attachment. Size: 15-15mm x 15-15mm; Weight: 2g Provenance: Private London collection; previously in a 1990s UK collection of Ancient Art.
