GREEK BLACK GLAZE SESSILE KANTHAROS - Ca. 450 BC. A black glaze sessile kantharos with a rounded lower body, flaring neck and twin horizontal handles. Both sides are decorated with vertical bands of alternating black and reserved chevrons, bordered by radiating strokes above and laurel leaves below.
