PAIR OF HELLENISTIC HIGH KARAT GOLD EARRINGS - Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A pair of gold earrings, each composed of a transverse cylindrical bar with ribbed terminals and suspension loops. From each bar hangs a pendant of elongated form, tapering to a pointed end. One pendant terminates in a cluster of small granules, while the other ends in a plain point. For similar see: F.H.
