HELLENISTIC TERRACOTTA STATUETTE OF EROS - Ca. 300 - 100 BC. A terracotta statuette of Eros depicted reclining with the head turned to the side. The facial features are softly modelled, with a rounded face, large eyes, and a gently curved mouth. Wavy hair frames the forehead and extends down the sides. The body is positioned in a relaxed posture, with one arm bent at the elbow and the other resting along the side. The wings extend from the upper back, with feathered detailing visible along the edges. Mounted on a custom-made display stand.
