CYPRIOT TERRACOTTA STATUE - ca. 600 BC. A terracotta figure of a standing male wearing a short tunic with deep vertical folds, holding an object over his left shoulder. His head is crowned with a stylised wreath, and the left arm is bent, supporting the item. The reverse is rounded and plain, with a small vent hole slightly off the centre. Size: 210mm x 85mm; Weight: 555g Provenance: Private UK collection; From an old British collection formed in the 1990s.
