DAUNIAN RED-PAINTED FUNNEL KRATER - Ca. 550 - 500 BC. A red-painted pottery krater with a globular body, and a wide funnel-shaped neck. The vessel is decorated with red-painted vertical parallel lines and wavy motifs arranged symmetrically, framed by horizontal bands encircling the upper and lower portions. Two diagonally positioned handles project from the sides of the body, each with a slight upward curve, alternating with two vertical lugs positioned on the front and back of the vessel.
