PHOENICIAN GLASS BEAD NECKLACE - Ca. 600 BC. A necklace composed of substantial glass beads in an asymmetrical ensemble. The beads vary in shape, including tubular forms with applied tiny spheres on the outer surface, melon-shaped beads with vertical ribbing, beads with pointed corners and side perforations, and biconical beads with hatched decoration.
