SCYTHIAN BRONZE APLIQUE DEPICTING A RECUMBENT STAG - Ca. 500 - 300 BC. A bronze appliqué depicting a stylised recumbent stag in profile, cast in relief. The animal is shown with forelegs tucked beneath the body, hindquarters drawn up, and head turned sharply backwards over the shoulder.
