COLLECTION OF THREE EGYPTIAN MOSAIC GLASS FISH INLAYS - EX CHRISTIE'S & EX GROPPI COLLECTION - Ptolemaic to Roman Period, Ca. 1st century BC - 1st century AD A collection of three mosaic glass fragmentary fish inlays, each composed of polychrome canes, including, from top to bottom: a long slender fish formed from yellow and brown canes; a shorter fish with blue and green body sections, the head with a circular eye in concentric colours; and a larger fish with striped tail, green and yellow scaled back and a head with serrated teeth, the eyes in blue framed by red and yellow.
