EGYPTIAN BICHROME GLAZED COMPOSITION BEADED BROAD COLLAR NECKLACE - First Intermediate Period, Ca. 2200 - 2055 BC A bichrome glazed composition beaded broad collar necklace formed from multiple registers of tubular beads arranged in rows, with bands of smaller spacer beads between. The lower edge is finished with a fringe of drop pendants. Curved terminal plaques secure the collar at either end, each fitted with a cord, one terminating in a finial composed of a rectangular beaded panel with a rounded end-piece and a fringe of flower-shaped pendants.
