PAIR OF HELLENISTIC SOLID HIGH KARAT GOLD BRACELETS 23 GRAMS - Ca. 200 - 100 BC A pair of gold bracelets, including, from top to bottom: a flexible bracelet composed of a dense loop-in-loop chain of circular section, terminating at one end in a bulbous cap and at the other in a long conical fitting with a small suspension loop; and a penannular bracelet formed from a thick rod of circular section twisted into a rope-like band. Size: 65-140mm x 5-50mm; Weight: 22.8g. Provenance: Private London collection; acquired in Belgium; formerly in a German private collection before 2000.
